SERVICES

Breathing

We start with a comprehensive face to face evaluation in order to define the nature of your breathing difficulties. This involves obtaining a history of your problem and putting that in the context of your total state of health. After this you may require additional testing to provide more information and insight into your breathing problem.

Pulmonary Function Testing

Spirometry measures airflow. By measuring how much air you exhale, and how quickly you exhale, spirometry can evaluate a broad range of lung diseases. In a spirometry test, while you are sitting, you breathe into a mouthpiece that is connected to an instrument called a spirometer. The spirometer records the amount and the rate of air that you breathe in and out over a period of time. When standing, some numbers might be slightly different.

Chest Imaging

There are a variety of ways to image the chest to provide us with more information about your breathing problem.

Digital Chest XRAY

High Resolution Chest CT

PET CT Scanning

Navigational Bronchoscopy

This new technology allows Dr. Holden to preform computer guided and precise sampling of lung tissue to aid in the diagnosis of your lung problem. Click here for a video about this procedure.

Sleep

We provide comprehensive evaluation for all sleep disorders including insomnia, parasomnias, sleep walking, obstructive and central sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and all forms of night time breathing difficulties.

Office based Home Sleep Testing

For many patients we offer convenient home testing for sleep apnea. We want your evaluation to be easy and convenient, so you can get the best treatment quickly and efficiently.

Laboratory based sleep testing

Through our relationship with The Sleep Center at ECM East we are able to provide state of the art comprehensive sleep testing for all types of sleep disorders.

Prevention

Smoking Cessation Consoling

Tobacco smoke contains a deadly mix of more than 7,000 chemicals; hundreds are harmful, and about 70 can cause cancer. Smoking increases the risk for serious health problems, many diseases, and death.

People who stop smoking greatly reduce their risk for disease and early death. Although the health benefits are greater for people who stop at earlier ages, there are benefits at any age.  Dr. Holden believes You are never too old to quit.

Vaccination

Dr. Holden believes in preventing illness before it happens. We provide vaccination counseling and seasonal influenza vaccinations.
